Natural disasters have become increasingly common in recent years, and can have a severe impact on the business of a commercial enterprise. Down time is lost revenue, and business continuity is key to surviving a disaster. According to the Canadian Centre for Emergency Preparedness, if there is no tested emergency management plan in place, up to 86% of small and medium sized businesses fail within 3 years of a major incident.
Each property is unique, and thus needs special consideration for the risks it will likely face. FirstOnSite will provide perspective on having a tested Emergency Response Plan in place and why it is a best practice for any commercial property. The session will also cover the advantages of having a restoration partner when faced with a disaster situation.
