Stay informed, stay connected and meet career objectives. IFMA Manitoba hosts and co-hosts  events throughout the year, all geared toward the learning and networking needs of facility management and other workplace professionals.

  • Tours – our unique behind-the-scenes tours touch on elements of project management, design, construction, mechanical and electrical, maintenance and more.
  • Learning – we keep members tuned in to best practices, new technologies and more via guest speakers and presentations.
  • Annual Golf Tournament – our annual tournament is a great chance to network and relax with colleagues and friends.
  • Co-hosted events – IFMA Manitoba partners with other associations and partners to bring additional learning opportunities to our members and contacts.
  • ConferencesFacility Fusion and World Workplace are two of the international conferences offered through IFMA.

Registration opens at 4:15 with a reception in the Golden Boy Room from 4:30 to 5:30 Followed by a Frank Albo Hermetic Code Tour

Do you ever wonder why the Manitoba Legislative Building has sphinxes on it? Have you wanted to learn about the symbols and hidden meanings behind the mystical architecture of the building? Join us for an evening of decoding the famous symbols and architecture that makes the building truly unique. Your guide will uncover trails of occult clues concealed in the building’s architecture including: hidden hieroglyphic inscriptions, numerological codes, and Freemasonic symbols so intelligently masked it has escaped historians and visitors for nearly a hundred years!

Bio on Frank Albo:

Dr. Frank Albo is an architectural historian and an expert on communicating new streams of knowledge in relation to the built environment and the cultures of the past. He holds graduate degrees in ancient Near Eastern languages, Western esotericism, and the history of art, receiving his PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2012.
