It's here!

What we do and where we're going

We are pleased to reveal our newly designed website for IFMA MB, feel free to Take a Peek! We have worked hard to evolve the association to one that is capable of responding to it's members and partners needs.

IFMA MB is pleased to announce the release of our new website, designed with a fresh new look and user-friendly navigation. One of our main goals was to build a user-friendly and simple to navigate site. The new design allows the users to quickly find the contents.    We hope that you will enjoy browsing our new site, finding more options and information each time, and that it will be yet another tool for strengthening our communications.

We hope you will visit the new website, and acquaint yourself with the new design.  And while you’re there, let us know what you think.  We’re quite proud of it, but we know there’s still work to do. In the coming months, we hope to continue improving the site so that it best serves how we communicate with you.

Thanks for being part of IFMA MB

concurrent education sessions starting at 10:00 am.

Speakers: John Stephenson and Kim Dandewich, FirstOnSite Restoration
Room: Theatre on the 2nd floor of the RBC Convention Center Winnipeg

Natural disasters have become increasingly common in recent years, and can have a severe impact on the business of a commercial enterprise. Down time is lost revenue, and business continuity is key to surviving a disaster. According to the Canadian Centre for Emergency Preparedness, if there is no tested emergency management plan in place, up to 86% of small and medium sized businesses fail within 3 years of a major incident.
Each property is unique, and thus needs special consideration for the risks it will likely face. FirstOnSite will provide perspective on having a tested Emergency Response Plan in place and why it is a best practice for any commercial property. The session will also cover the advantages of having a restoration partner when faced with a disaster situation.
